77 Degrees: Midtown Heats Up With a Brand New Rooftop Bar

Updated: May 28, 2019

Last Thursday, 77 Degrees officially opened up in Midtown  right above another trending Union Venture Group concept, Jack & Ginger's. This new rooftop bar has four different levels and offers a beautiful view of the downtown skyline. The cabana-styled seating, completely white walls, and the open air concept makes you feel like you've been transported to a vacation in the Caribbeans.

The menu offers a selection of cocktails and tapas that complete the feeling of being on a beachside vacation. We tried the Ruby Slipper and Cayman Account cocktails, both of which were very tropical and refreshing.

Tapas include a variety of bites, tacos, and pineapples! They all look delicious, especially the Cornflake Chicken Tacos and the Guacamole 77 with pomegranate seeds. We will need to report back on how the food actually is though!

EL LOCO || Pineapple bowl, seasonal fruit, tajin, chammy, flaming hot Cheetos, assorted candies

GUACAMOLE 77 || Fresh avocado, mango, pomegranate seeds, tajin, plantain chips, blue corn tortilla chips

SWEAT HEAT TENDERS || Grilled lime, house fries

BARBACOA (TOP) || Shreded beef, red onion, cilantro, salsa verde

CORNFLAKE CHICKEN (BOTTOM) || Cornflake breaded chicken, mango slaw, mango pico de gallo

PULLED PORK PASTOR || Pulled pork, chipotle adobo, grilled pineapple, cilantro

CAYMAN ACCOUNT || Bacardi 8 Rum, Myers dark rum, Rum Barbancourt, pineapple juice, orange juice, pineapple parrot

RUBY SLIPPER || Bombay dry gin, Deep Eddy ruby red vodka, blood orange, lime, agave

The view is even more stunning at night as well!
