As you may know, we have been on a “taco crawl”, on the hunt for our favorite taco shops in Houston. I'll admit the process has been slow, but fret not, the taco crawl must go on!

Last week we visited Dream Tacos TX, formerly Jenni’s Noodle House on Richmond Ave. The owners of Jenni’s rebranded and revamped the restaurant, turning it into a colorful, vibrant new restaurant, serving up delicious tacos of all sorts. Whether you’re looking for breakfast tacos, gourmet tacos, or authentic tacos, the menu at Dream Tacos has it all.

The first thing worth mentioning is that the flour tortillas are homemade and corn tortillas are shipped in fresh each morning. If there is anything that I have learned over the past couple months of seeking out the best tacos in Houston, it is that the tortilla is everything and can make or break any taco!

Secondly, all six of their sauces are made in house and range from mild to LAVA! Our personal favorites include the roasted lava, fiery avocado, and cilantro ranch.

Other sides worth mentioning include the street corn and charro beans. If you leave room for dessert, order the off-the-menu churros!
