If there's one thing I've learned from moving to a new city is that finding your go-to diner is a tough task! After a four month long hunt, I can proudly say that I've found my new diner in Houston!
Lola is your classic diner but with a modern spin. You get your typical diner booths and a bar that looks into the kitchen, but the bright yellow and green accents and the quotes that cover the ceiling add a more present-day feel. Most importantly though, the food is not what you'd expect of a typical diner - it's beyond mediocre comfort food.
Last weekend we got to host our first foodie get together at Lola. We got to try their most popular dishes both on the breakfast and the lunch/dinner menu. Both are available all day, so you can get breakfast food for dinner or dinner food for breakfast. No judgement either way! If you're craving it, you should be able to eat it at any time of the day, right? So glad Lola understands this.

LOLA BURGER || Flame grilled Akaushi beef/Texas Kobe patty, cheddar cheese, organic blended greens, tomato, pickles, and bacon
Y'all, this burger is no joke. The patty is juicy and delicious and the bun is slightly sweet. It's a killer combo, and I will definitely be back just for this burger.
