Earlier this year, Houston Astros owner, Jim Crane, dove into the restaurant scene with a new Modern Italian eatery in Downtown Houston. In fact, Potente sits right across the street from Minute Maid Park, home of the Astros, which means it's the new hottest spot to grab dinner and drinks before or after a game!
A couple weeks ago we had a taste of some of their favorite dishes on the menu. As you scroll through keep in mind that these are NOT full-sized portions. Also imagine beautiful pairings of wines from their extensive listing. A sommelier is always available to assist you in choosing your wine for the evening!
APPETIZERS
TONNO CURDO || Tuna, frozen foie gras, preserved lemon, caperberry
I love the freshness of the fish and the addition of the caperberry and foie gras on top! The combination is delightful.
📷
BURRATA CAPRESE || Texas tomato, puglia's cheese, basil blossom, cucumber tea
Tomatoes are locally sourced and out of this world! Though there's no surprise that we have some amazing growers out in our community!

New Fall menu item! Stay tuned to find this on the menu!
